Danny

I just wanted to thank you for a GREAT fishing trip! You were very professional, and inspiring for future trips.  Your equipment is top notch and in great shape and there were no cutting corners on your part when you purchased them. I throughly enjoyed our conversations and instructions on fishing on Lake Don Pedro. Don Pedro Lake can be very challenging at times, but I now know from my experience with fishing with you, that those challenges can be overcome with the right  information. I plan on going again in the future. Thank you!

Thanks for the tips. Three of us went out with Danny Layne yesterday on Don Pedro and had a great time. We caught limits of a mixed bag of Kokanee, Chinook and Rainbows. Danny has a great setup and is a very personable and professional guide. It was a great pleasure to fish with him and we'll certainly do it again.

Hi Dan, just wanted to drop you "a line" and let you know how much we appreciate what a great host and guide you were for us on our recent trip to New Lake Melones. Your professionalism and knowledge of the area  was impressive. We really enjoyed your stories and relationships you shared with your fellow fisherman on the lake, the barking dog was a hoot!  Our grandsons are both crazy about fishing and you really showed them a great time. The Kokanee were enjoyed by all as well and we can assure you we will be back again.
Saw the pics you posted on your website,   Nathan and Nolan will love it! Have a wonderful summer,  if you ever make it to the San Juans, look us up.

Hi Dan,
 
WOW, what a great day fishing with you yesterday at Melones reservoir.  My son was visiting from Pennsylvania and I wanted to share a fishing adventure with him while he was here on vacation.  We could not have made a better choice !  We were so impressed with your fishing knowledge and skills and your boat setup and equipment are PHENOMENAL !!!
My son is an avid fisherman  back home in Pa., but has had limited success while bank fishing here in California.  So we decided to try our hand at Kokanee and trout fishing with you, a wise decision indeed.  We were catching fish within 2 minutes of wetting the line and had caught our limit in 3 hours or less !  What a super job you did cleaning and filleting our catch so that we could pop in the freezer as soon as we arrived home.  After seeing our photos my wife and my son-in -law and his boy are now determined to share a similar adventure with you.  You are a great guy, calm, cool and collected while working your tail off rigging poles, re-baiting lines and maintaining the troll on course and holding conversation all at the same time.  Looking forward to doing it again soon.  Best of luck and continued success !!!

Dear Dan

First I want to say you're one of the nicest, kindest gentlemen I ever met. Diane and I had a wonderful, joyous time fishing with you on your boat. The fish we cooked were awesome.

We saw the pictures you posted of us with our catch on the web, "how great"?

I hope your trip to Oregon was a safe and successful fishing adventure. Hope to see some pictures on your web site of your trip.
