Dan has fished the Mother Lode since the 50's, learning the streams, rivers, and lakes from his father. In the 50's and 60's fishing the lakes of Tuolumne County meant top lining or using lead core lines. In those days you got into the boat, found your favorite lure, and hoped the fish would  be cooperative.
By the 80's things had really changed. Fishing had become a science with the usage of electronic devisces such as downriggers and fishfinders, not to mention a variety of lures and fish scents. This meant the need for more knowledge to perfect your fishing experience. Dan uses these new methods and skills to increase your fishing enjoyment.
Dan is a member of various state and national fishing foundations. He volunteers time to support the growth in the interest of fishing and helps to maintain the integrity of the production of fish for future generations to enjoy.
Dan is licensed by the California Department of Fish and Game (#3136) and is U.S. Coast Gurard certified. He has been a resident of Tuolumne County for over 30 years and is proud to be a local guide,.
